Natalie Okri unlucky not to be in the Britain’s Got Talent final
Natalie Okri was very unlucky not to be in the Britain’s Got Talent final. I say this because the acts that came first and second in the final of the competition, dance troupe Diversity and singer Susan Boyle, were both in the same semi-final at Natalie.
So the reason she didn’t make it to the final was most likely the luck of the draw, or in this case, the lack of luck of the draw.

Natalie Okri misses out on a place in the BGT final
Sadly, Natalie Okri’s Britain’s Got Talent dream has come to an end. Natalie, appearing in the first semi-final which also contained Susan Boyle, will not be going through to the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
Susan Boyle won the public vote, Natalie Okri and dance troupe Diversity received came next in the public vote (although we don’t know the order). It was the judges’ task to choose between Diversity and Natalie Okri for the remaining place in the final – and they chose diversity.
Nevertheless, Natalie Okri looked and sounded every bit the superstar as she sang “Superstar”, originally made famous by Jamelia.
The judges clearly enjoyed Natalie’s performance.
After she had finished, Piers Morgan asked: “How are you feeling?” Natalie replied: “excited.”
“You should be – to come on that stage in front of millions people at 10 years old. It is incredible. I couldn’t do it and I’m four times your age. It was terrific. You are a little star in the making.”
Amanda added: “I have been looking forward to your performance and you didn’t disappoint me. You are beautiful, really confident and you looked like you enjoyed every second. You owned that stage, and I know that is Louis’s favourite line but well done, fantastic performance.”
Simon finished the comments, saying: “I still totally adore you. You’re one of the cutest kids I have ever met. On a slight downer, I wouldn’t have chosen that song. What it didn’t give you is an opportunity to see who you are. It was more cutsey than what I would have preferred. Just smile and you’ll get a load of votes.”

Natalie Okri’s Dad Speaks Out
Natalie Okri’s father, Godwin, 44, has been speaking to the Sunday People newspaper about his relationship, or should I say lack of relationship, with his daughter. He says that he had never heard his daughter sing, until he watched her on the TV last night. He has not even seen her in the six years that he has been apart from her mum, Tabeth.
However, he is now apparently seeking a reunion with Natalie, stating: “I’ve always wanted Natalie back in my life. I’m her dad. I miss her terribly.”
Godwin watched Britain’s Got Talent from his home in Belvedere, Kent, with his wife Victoria and their two children.
Godwin lives in a four-bedroom bungalow, which contrasts sharply with the cramped flat where Natalie, her mother Tabeth, and sister Michelle live. However, he has stated that he: “Tried to have contact but Tabeth will not have it.” Tabeth nevertheless maintains that Godwin has not been in touch with her since 2003.
Clearly upset, she stated: “Natalie found it hard not having her dad around. He doesn’t want to know. He has his own family now.”
Natalie Okri wants to buy her mum a house if she wins “Britain’s Got Talent”
Natalie Okri, who last night wowed the judges on Britain’s Got Talent with her rendition of No One by Alicia Keys, has promised to buy her mum a house if she wins the competition.
Currently Natalie and her mum live together with Natalie’s older sister Michelle in a small flat in Deptford, South London. They have lived there since Natalie’s parents split up six years ago.
According to The Sun newspaper, little Natalie has vowed: “Mum has done everything for me. If I get famous it would be wonderful to buy her a house. I wouldn’t like to live in a place like this.”
Natalie would also like to take her mum, 43, and sister Michelle, 20, on holiday to Florida.
Natalie revealed to the Daily Mirror that she has been the victim of bullying at school, being labelled a “cry baby”.
“There’s one girl in my class who makes fun of me because I wear ordinary clothes and she wears fashion stuff.
She’s the gang leader and there’s about six of them who make me cry. But I know I can win the show and show them all what I can do.”
Confident Natalie is hopeful that she can beat Susan Boyle and win the Britain’s Got Talent competition. Well, let’s hope that Demi Moore starts to Twitter about you Natalie – I’m sure that will help.
Meanwhile, Natalie’s mum Tabeth has spoken about Natalie’s father who has not been a part of her life since their separation. She said that she hoped that he watched last night’s show so that he can see what he’s been missing out on. However, she said that she would be “annoyed” if he just got in touch now just because Natalie had been on TV.
Natalie Okri Wows the Judges on Britain’s Got Talent

Natalie Okri on Britain's Got Talent
Saturday’s edition of Britain’s Got Talent has another small star in the making, who perhaps will rival Susan Boyle’s apparently unbeatable position in the competition.
Cute Natalie Okri, just 10 years old, will astound both the judges and the audience with her version of No One, originally sung by Alicia Keys.
The petite diva sounds like a small Beyoncé, and according to “The Sun” newspaper, she tells the judges: “I’ve been singing since I was four I sing at school, I sing at home and I sometimes even sing when I am having my dinner! I want to be a singer and a diva and I definitely want to be like Beyoncé.”
Little Natalie’s dreams could come true as she leaves the judges very impressed with her performance.
Piers Morgan told her: “You are a very, very little girl with a very, very big voice, I loved it”, and Simon Cowell described her as “totally and utterly adorable”.
